Susan Hooper holds the position of Associate Director. Prior to her accepting this position in April 2005, she worked for the Trust for 10 months on a contract basis. Susan earned her Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from California State University, Sacramento. After 10 years as a manager in the Education and Organization Development Department at Sutter Health she worked as a Management Consultant and Trainer for Positive Impact Consulting.
Prior to joining CVFT she worked for the Sacramento County Farm Bureau and served on the board of the Sacramento Farm Bureau Foundation for Agricultural Education.

William Martin
William Martin (Bill) is the Executive Director of the Trust. He was born and raised in the central San Joaquin Valley and currently resides in Sacramento. He holds a BS degree in Ag Business Management from Cal Poly (San Luis Obispo) and Masters degree in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix. Bill has thirty-one years of experience in agricultural finance and property administration. He is an Accredited Agriculture Consultant for the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers and a non-lawyer member of the State Bar of California where he sits on a panel to arbitrate attorney client fee disputes.
