	p_text[0]="Beach Farm is a beautiful 80 acre parcel located near the City of Livingston in Merced County.  This prime farmland produces almonds and has been in the family for 25 years.  An agricultural conservation easement was placed on the property and it was permanently protected in 2008. ";
	p_text[1]="Langille-Carman Farm is 38.8 acres located near the town of Hilmar in Merced County.   The farm was purchased by Samuel and Katherine Langille in 1910, and was subsequently passed on upon their death to their son Colin and daughter Katherine.  Colin worked the farm until his death, and when Katherine died it was passed on to her son and daughter-in-law Bruce and Barbara Carman.  This prime farmland currently produces corn and alfalfa.  The family donated this agricultural conservation easement, and it was permanently protected in 2009.";
	p_text[2]="Cochrane Farm is a lovely 44 acres located in the Delhi District of Merced County.  This prime farmland produces three varieties of almonds; Nonpariel, Mission and Neplus.  The land has been in the family for 40 years and is currently managed by the Samran family.  An agricultural conservation easement was placed on the property to ensure the land would always be farmed.  It was permanently protected in 2002."; 
	p_text[3]="Cole Farm is located in the Delhi District of Merced County.  These 28 acres of prime farmland produce two varieties of almonds; Nonpariel and Price. The land has been in the family for 35 years and continues to be farmed and managed by family members.  An agricultural conservation easement was placed on the property to ensure the land would always be farmed.  It was permanently protected in 2002.";
	p_text[4]="Du Granrut Ranch is located in north eastern Merced County.  These 40 acres have been in the family for 22 years.  In January 2008 the family replanted the 40 acres with almond trees.  These trees will produce a light crop each year until they reach full production in 2012.  This land was permanently protected in January 2006.";
	p_text[5]="Sutter Home Winery purchased this prime farmland in 2010 from the Dumas family.  In 2011 the land was planted with merlot and cabernet vines.  In 2012 they will train the vines and production will begin in 2013.  These 220 acres of prime farmland was permanently protected in 2003.";
	p_text[6]="The Espinosa Family Farm is located in the Delhi District of Merced County.  These 39 acres of prime farmland produce almonds and peaches.  It was permanently protected with an agricultural conservation easement in 2007.";
	p_text[7]="The Jessie Espinosa Farm is located in the Delhi District of Merced County.  These 38 acres of prime farmland produce peaches.  It was permanently protected with an agricultural conservation easement in 2007.";
	p_text[8]="Espinoza Farm is located near the City of Delhi in Merced County.  These beautiful 39 acres produce almonds and peaches and were purchased by the Espinoza Brothers in 1998.  Working on the family farm gave them a great appreciation of the hard work it takes to produce a crop and the importance of Central Valley farmland.  This awareness was their motivation for conserving their farm, and the land was permanently protected in April 2008.";
	p_text[9]="The Flora-Graser Farm is located in the Delhi District of Merced County.  These 25 acres of prime farmland produce almonds.  It was permanently protected with an agricultural conservation easement in 2002.";
	p_text[10]="This beautiful ranch is located in Merced County near the town of Planada.  The land has been in the family for over 100 years.  These 1,006 acres of prime farmland produces alfalfa, sileage, oats, wheat and beef cattle.  The family’s concern over rapid development in the county led to their decision to pursue an agricultural conservation easement, and the land was permanently protected in July 2000.";

Our father would have been extremely pleased to know it will forever remain in agriculture.  This land was permanently protected in April 2005.";

It is also home to Magneson Dairy which milks 700 cows and is fully organic.  No artificial hormones and no antibiotics are used, and the cattle are fed 100 percent organic feed and graze on the permanent pastures.  Many other environmental enhancements have been made.  This land was permanently protected in December 2006.";

This 928 acre farm was the first agricultural conservation easement completed under the Williamson Act Easement Exchange in San Joaquin County.  The farm produces alfalfa hay, sileage corn, tomatoes, asparagus and onions.  It was permanently protected in 2006.";
	p_text[15]="This beautiful farm in Stanislaus County was purchased by Charles Menghetti on January 14, 1919.  Charles and his wife Anna raised dairy cattle, alfalfa and grapes.  Peter and his wife Kathleen Menghetti inherited the property where they raised a family and continue to live today. Currently the land produces almonds and walnuts.  Peter and Kathleen placed an agricultural conservation easement on these 155 acres of prime farmland in honor of Charles and Anna in January 2009.";

This land was permanently protected in December 2007.";
	p_text[17]="Pfeiffer Ranch is located in the foothills of the Diablo Mountain Range in western Merced County.  It is the largest easement held by the Central Valley Farmland Trust at nearly 7,000 acres.  The ranch is comprised predominantly of open grazing land.  It was permanently protected in 1999.";
	p_text[18]="Mello Farm is located in Sacramento County near the City of Elk Grove.  These 97 acres of prime farmland produces alfalfa hay.  The land was permanently protected in 2003.";
	p_text[19]="This organic farm produces almonds and super high density olives for olive oil.  Located in Merced County near the City of Livingston and the Merced River, these 62 acres of prime farmland was purchased by the Silveira family in 2003.  Family members decided to preserve the land for food production and prevent the land near the Merced River from being developed.   It was permanently protected in 2008.";
